Your Second Visit to Our Wichita Practice

We'll review your results and make recommendations on how we can help.

After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, After we study your health history and correlate your examination and X-ray findings, we’ll make recommendations designed specifically for your health needs and goals. We call this the Report of Findings.

The Report of Findings is generally given on your second visit. This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

The Report of Findings answers these common questions:

  • What's Wrong?
  • What needs to be done?
  • How long will this take?
  • How much will it cost?
  • We answer any questions you may have.

Patients are welcome to bring a family member or friend that will be able to listen to the report of findings with them. We find that family members and friends are grateful to learn how they can assist in the recovery efforts.

Allow 15-25 minutes for your second visit. The total visit time may decrease depending upon your particular care needs.

Dr. John Asks some important questions of interest to Wichita residents - Chiropractor Wichita Dr. John Asks...

Where do most Wichita residents get their first subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Wichita newborn.
What causes subluxations?
Chiropractors acknowledge three types of stress: physical, chemical and emotional. When the adaptive capacity of your body is compromised, weakened areas along the spine can become involved. Muscles tighten, spinal joints lock up and nearby nerves are affected. The purpose of chiropractic care is to find these areas and restore balance, alignment and motion.
